Grasshopper
Type: Furniture Design
Concept:
A contemporary chair inspired by the silhouette of a grasshopper, expressed through a dynamic and slightly angular geometry.
Approach:
The design explores contrast between solid and transparent elements. The wooden frame defines the overall form and provides visual stability, while the transparent seat introduces lightness and reduces the visual weight of the object.
Metal connectors emphasize the joints and articulate how the elements come together, adding a technical and precise character to the design. The composition balances structure and lightness, resulting in a distinctive and expressive piece.
Materials:
Solid oak, plexiglass, metal
